Porsche Cayenne – A Risk worth Taking

When the news first came out that Porsche was going to enter their first SUV into the market, it was met with some elements of shock from both the industry and Porsche enthusiasts. After all, this was a company that had for so long been associated with sports cars of the Coupe type and so it appeared that there was a drastic change of direction taking place. In total there is five different versions of the new and used Porsche Cayenne that is available to consumers; the standard petrol version, the standard Diesel version, the Cayenne S, Cayenne S Hybrid and also the Cayenne Turbo. So from this array of offerings, consumers do have a good choice to choose from if they are indeed considering the purchase of a new or used Porsche Cayenne. The Turbo version is the most advanced of the five and it achieves 0 to 62 miles per hour in just 4.7 seconds; hugely impressive if you consider the size of the vehicle. It also has a top speed of 173 miles per hour and generates 500 hp at 6,000 rpm. However, to have the pleasure of driving the Cayenne Turbo it will cost. Being a Porsche vehicle there is naturally going to be a high price associated when buying a brand new unit simply because of the sheer quality on offer. So to buy a top of the range Porsche Cayenne Turbo it will set you back around £81,500, which is definitely in the top end price bracket. Nonetheless, this is certainly a case of getting what you pay for.
